严慧，女，山东临沂人，1990年出生，理学博士，副教授，硕士生导师。

2011年毕业于烟台大学生物科学专业，获学士学位；2016年毕业于中国农业大学微生物学专业，获博士学位；2016-2018年在中国农业大学动物科技学院动物营养与饲料科学专业进行博士后研究。同年以“青年才俊”引进至河北农业大学动物科技学院任教。以第一作者在《Frontiers in Microbiology》《Frontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology》《Systematic and Applied Microbiology》《International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology》等期刊发表SCI论文5篇。

科研项目：主持河北农业大学引进人才科研专项1项《肉羊瘤胃芽孢杆菌分离保藏及比较基因组学研究》，2018.12-2023.12
